Indrani has been researching the beneficial effects of Indian classical music on children with Autism. She discovered that ragas as performed on stage in live concerts need modifications which include speed, beats, rhythms and hence the mindfulness raga becomes entirely different from the ragas performed in live concerts on stage. She observed beneficial effects of different Indian Classical Ragas tailored with special tempos & rhythms on children over a period of a few years. She saw the children exhibiting positive effects such as increased eye contact, better social interaction, reduced stress and increasing calmness.

She incorporated her research into developing Panchajanya Om a unique form of mindfulness which uses tailored melodious Ragas to treat symptoms of autism, ADHD, stress, depression, anger issues and dementia.
